How do I find the confirmation email for recurring donations?

We're having difficulty with our emails to subscribers at Earthlink (and Earthlink-owned domains) getting through.

Previously, I've sometimes seen automated replies from Earthlink asking to manually whitelist the sender's address, which I've done. In this case, we haven't gotten those auto-replies, but the email definitely isn't going through.

...it seems to be the case that DiA doesn't have the best email ratings. Is this the reason email isn't getting through to Earthlink?

I'd like any information DiA has about deliverability to Earthlink and, if DiA is aware of a deliverability problem, whether there's any workaround short of asking people to get a different email address.

I am setting up an individual email auto-responder for an event, so that I get pinged whenever anyone registers for our event.  But how do I include in that email the details (Name/Email address) of who has just registered?  I can see how to set up the email... and what should be in the body, but no idea how to configure it so it will send to me, the person on staff, the info of the person who just registered.

Here's what we want to do: When someone signs up to receive actions alerts, we would like to automatically follow-up with them a few times to encourage them to become a member.

They would start out in a prospect group assigned from the registration form. They would get their initial autoresponder.

We would then like them to get a series of membership emails...ex: on week 2, on week 4, on week 6 from sign-up date.  If they become a member somewhere in there, they would be added to a member group and their trigger condition would change and they would not receive any more membership promos.  

I THINK this can be done by setting up a series of triggers and then from the email trigger OPTIONS tab setting up send conditions for each.  But actually DOING this is beyond me.

Is there any way to add CSS styles from an email template to the "Style" drop-down within the rich-text editor when using that template?

For instance, say I define a CSS class in my template called "sidebar" to be 200 pixels wide and float to the right. Is there any way to add that .sidebar class to that drop-down menu within the rich text editor, so when creating an email blast with that template I can select an arbitrary item and give it that style (class)?

If supporters have been unsubscribed and the "receive email" field is anything but 1, 3, or 10 (see http://www.salsacommons.org/o/8001/p/salsa/web/wiki/public/?reference=Receive%20Email%20values for reference), is there any way that they can receive emails from us?  Say, for instance, if they still have tags associated with their record and we send out a blast to supporters with that tag?

I want my salutation to be first name if my list includes that info and nothing if it does not include that info. How do I set this up?

So i'm probably just really slow on the uptake here but i just want a report on what supporters are opening (and opening and clicking through) on emails we send.

We tried to kick-start a new listserve yesterday, but the first message that went out was garbled. Every line ended with an = sign and there were =3Ds interspersed throughout the text.

It appears Salsa listserves don't handle quoted-printable encoding (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quoted-printable)

Has anyone using group listserves run into this?  Is there a fix?

I do my e-mails outside Salsa and then paste the HTML portion into the "source" view of the WYSWIG editor.  Just in the past couple of days it's taken to turning line breaks in my HTML code into <p> </p> code which is really a pain in that thing I sit on all day.

Has anyone noticed the editor in the new e-mail package acting up in the past couple of days?

Supporters have told me that when they try to forward emails we send them through Salsa to other people that all of the formatting disappears or gets messy.  Has anyone else had this problem or know how to resolve it?

More and more email clients are supporting css in the head as well as inline (see: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ for a list). Why does DIA strip all css I put in the <head>? Is there a way to stop the html editor from stripping this?

Is there a better way than using custom fields on a sign up page to allow site visitors so subscribe to specific e-mail lists?

We're looking to do more than simply present a group name but would want to do something like

[list name]
The [list] tells you about [stuff].  Subscribers to this list receive messages from us approximately [X] times per [month][week][year].

Has anyone found a good solution/way to do this?
