Does anyone know how to include an "Add to iCal" or "Add to Outlook Calendar" links to thank you pages / email auto-replies?

How can I add multiple event types to one event payment page? I want to create different payment types (i.e. conference w/ dinner, conference only, conference with extra donation, etc) for a single event. Is this possible?

I am setting up an individual email auto-responder for an event, so that I get pinged whenever anyone registers for our event.  But how do I include in that email the details (Name/Email address) of who has just registered?  I can see how to set up the email... and what should be in the body, but no idea how to configure it so it will send to me, the person on staff, the info of the person who just registered.

Does anyone have a detailed events page that they have custom designed that they like?  We have our national convention coming up and I would like to create a more integrated events page with several different registration levels and an option to purchase a t-shirt.  

If someone has one they have created that I could look at - that would be terrific!

Is DIA working on re-introducing supporter scoring to the system?  We do this on our own and it gets a bit confusing.

I am designing an event that has a required fee.  We also would like to give participants an opportunity to increase their gift by adding an additional donation on top of the required minimum fee. Any advice in developing this through the Events software?

We host large events (200+ people) and often need to collect specific information outside of the available user fields, such as lunch preference, specific breakout sessions attending and whether they'll be staying all day or only part of the day.   

It would be great to be able to create data collection fields for each event.  Right now I can create groups for one set of data (i.e. two different lunch choices) but if I'm trying to gather more than that, it starts to look confusing.

Anyone know of a way to setup an auto-response to include the name of the event or action the auto-response is being sent for.  We're going to be registering folks for a number of webinars and rather than setup a nearly identical auto-responses for each of them - it would be great to have a template one that simply swaps out the event name.  Same would be helpful for setting up one generic default auto-response for thanking people in taking action.

I am setting up my first paid event in Salsa for a dinner fundraiser and we have descriptions associated with each fee level (e.g. $2500 is a Community Investor level and it buys a table to seat 8 and acknowledgment in the program).  I set up my fees, but now I want to tweak the descriptions, but I can't seem to find a way to edit them without deleting the entry and starting over.  Can I edit the fee description once I've added it and saved?

Has anyone used Salsa to manage a fairly large (couple hundred of paid attendees) event -- either solely using the Salsa events tool, or using it in connection with any other software?

Couple of questions about paid events.  

How do you handle "paper registrations"?  We have some that have mailed in checks for the event.

Is there a way to put a tracking code and/oro a tag on an event registration form?

I used to be able to get a list of all our events by simply using an incorrect event number at the end of the event URL.  Now, for some reason, my events aren't generating on this list.  What's changed in the last couple of weeks?  This is how we run our calendar, so I need to have that functionality back.

I have two related questions.  

1) What does selecting an event from the event drop-down menu in the donation page do, exactly?  
I searched in the past posts and documentation, and didn't find an explanation of what happens when you link a donation page to an event other than that it becomes linked.  What does that mean?  Are there tags added to the donation?  

2) What's the difference between a) setting up an event page with an fee and b) creating a donation page and linking it to an event (both through an automatic redirect from the event page and selecting an "event" option under page options in the donation pages menu)?  Which do you use?  I can't see any obvious drawbacks in using a paid event page instead of a linked donation page, but perhaps I'm missing something.  I've just recently inherited our DIA setup so wanted to solicit the opinions of the more experienced - perhaps there is wisdom in our old set up (the linked donation pages).  Thanks!
